The private key is the only certificate for the user's digital assets. Please properly back up your wallet account to avoid loss of assets.
When registering an EOS account in the ET wallet, the [Backup Private Key] page will appear. The private key is the unique certificate of your digital asset. The ET wallet will not save the user's private key information, so you need to copy it yourself without any mistake.
What if I forgot to copy the private key information when I registered my account?
1. Open the ET wallet, click [My] in the lower right corner, find [wallet management], click to enter the [wallet management page]
2. On the [wallet management page] click the “>” icon to enter the [Account Details] page, find [Export Private Key] and click the “>” icon.
When saving the private key information, it is best to use the paper to accurately copy it. Be sure to distinguish between upper and lower case. Try to avoid screenshots and copy and paste directly in the network.
